Hello folks, far and near!๐ŸŒท ๐Ÿ

February 12, 2026

Warm greetings are being extended to each of you. The children have a favorite storybook called “Springtime Babies on the Farm”. That’s exactly what we’ve been blessed with. Truly spring with the 40 to 60 degrees after a full two weeks of ice and winter and four litters of babies.

Jennie, our cavalier, had her babies on January 26. So far, they are all doing very well, and Mama has been doing a good job in caring for them!

Next in line came Emmie, actually the Mama to Jennie! Emmie safely and tenderly had her little ones on February 2nd. And she, too, is taking excellent care of them. On Sunday, February 8th, we had a great surprise. When it was the first time, Mama Qunita Ann had a litter of 8 mini Bernedoodles. This was exciting, as we raised Qunita Ann as a puppy!

This litter will be interesting as Qunita Ann has no curl, and the sire, Chip. has only one copy! Therefore, these puppies will all have straighter hair.

Last, but not least, is good ole faithful Erin, who had a litter of 10 puppies! Our thoughts were to keep back a Standard-colored male out of Erin & Chip. Well, she only had twะพ colored females! This healthy litter was born on February 10th.

Here in our kennel, we have a tri colored mini Bernedoodle male, we bought from a nationwide breeder out of Ohio called Happy Tail Pets. We had plans to keep him as a stud dog, as he is totally genetically clear with a copy of chocolate.

We ended up keeping back Qunita Ann and Qintara Darcy, but he’s related to them, so we are going to sell him. We call him Baxter, and his profile is on our sire page. He is super friendly and a great breeder! Any questions, feel free to contact us. We’d be happy to share more information.

And a quick peek into our lives… The girls still love school, and when the weather permits, they happily hop on their bikes for another new day of fun lessons and adventures.

Jamie, our little man, is eagerly looking forward to his preschool days! He happily follows Daddy whenever he’s home, or tags after anybody who’s here to work on our house remodeling. This winter, he often had the job of filling the bird feeding duties.

Miss Independent Marlisa trots around here keeping everyone in line. She loves to tussle with Daddy, but says, ” I mayn’t tease Mama, she’s nice!

And dear Eli is still busy at the lumber yard. With all the new litters and the remodeling project, it does seem he’s almost got more than he cares to have at one time. And of course, any spare minute he has, there’s always one of us wanting some of his time! We are blessed with a loving and caring Daddy!

O Lord our Lord, how excellent is Thy name in all the earth! Who hast set Thy glory above the Heavens. Psalm 8:1

Wishing you all a safe and happy spring! Blessings from the Shirk family at TRK!
